Martin and Gemma

I had the pleasure of spending a time with Gemma and Martin on their beautiful sunny September wedding day. We started the day with bridal prep and Gemma's mums house with Gemma's parents, her sisters, other bridesmaids and the flower girls. The mood in the house was so lovely and Gemma's sisters had arranged a couple of surprises for her.

We had a tiny spot of rain as Gemma was leaving the house but by the time we arrived at Moddershall Oaks it had cleared up and the sun was peeking through so the outside ceremony could go ahead by the lake.

The ceremony was beautiful with lots of emotion from everyone. During the signing of the register there was yet more surprises for the couple when the brides father played the keyboard and her niece signed along in Makaton.

After the ceremony there was a drinks reception and we snook off to take the couples portraits, we were interrupted by the bridal party which made for some really fun shots of the bride being picked up and the couple falling into a hammock at the suggestion of the bridesmaids.

The wedding breakfast was beautiful followed by speeches from the brides Mum, the Groom and the grooms Step-Father. And another surprise thrown in when the brides 2 sisters Laura and Sarah read out a poem.

As evening guests started to arrive, the drinks started flowing and everyone was having a great time. We lit some sparklers and had some photos in the beautifully lit grounds.

The evening was fun with lots of chatting, music and dancing,

Even Nan got on the dancefloor with all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

What an absolutely gorgeous day at a stunning venue, thanks for having me!
